Sweetie Violet Coordinates x3!

I was able to take some time while the light was better this afternoon, to take further photos with the coordinates I had planned. So here they are! I used the mannequin again. I'm still undecided on it, I will try it with a jumperskirt in the future.

I noticed the little touches of green in the skirt and wondered how it would look with mint. I unfortunately so far I only own this old cardigan (I do have some chiffon ... I really ought to use my time better ...). I gave it a slightly school girl touch with the Innocent World blouse and the neck tie (pinched from the bobon blouse that it doesn't match). I kept the mint up by using my macaron tartan headbow and mint tights. I think the pink bag ties it together and helps the print to pop.

This coordinate is inspired by Angii of Spoon&Fork's recent affection for navy and lavender, my dear Thali's wardrobe and style and the touches of deep purple found in the pansies and violets of the print. I rediscovered the brooch in my collection, which has a loop for a chain to convert it to a necklace. It was inherited from my Grandmother (thankfully she is still with us, don't worry!). It has a lovely purple flower illustration and the most beautiful setting. It really is the sweetest thing- it really does put me in mind of Thali. The tights are navy, with a subtle pattern though obviously that hasn't come out well here.

While I had the blouse on the mannequin after the mint photos were taken, I decided to do another pink one using the milky chan cardigan. It has a slightly more classic sweet style when paired with the converted brooch I think more mature legware and shoes would suit better but the striped logo socks give it an old school edge and the tea parties that sweet style charm.
