A Happy Birthday

Just a quiet small post today, I wanted to show off the beautiful little things I had been gifted for my birthday the other day. It seems there was a bit of a running theme. I turned a whole quarter of a century old (25, so I guess I better change some side bars)! A few days earlier, Lauren arrived to stay with us as she was attending the tea party. She was lovely enough to gift me some beautiful Sugarpill eye shadows I had been eyeing off. I love love love them. From left to right they are Kitten Parade, Birthday Girl (appropriate right?), CandyCrush and Paper Doll. Kitten Parade is particularly gorgeous, and I paired it later that weekend with gold for the tea party. I'm excited to wear the others soon, I think they'll fit right in with my style, don't you?

On my birthday morning, after all our guests had left, Thali surprised me with a beautiful chocolate shopping bag! Haha, I think she was a little worried for a moment I would be too interested in the packaging (I don't know why, but the bag is just really nice!). Inside of course was this little treasure. Without my knowing she'd managed to get it from Japan to me. It's the first thing I've owned from Q-Pot! While they tend to specialise in chocolate themes, I really love their more pastel, sweets pieces. And what could be better than ice cream in my three favourite colours?? It matches macaron tartan perfectly (so I can wear it with all the pieces when I one day own them ... what). I was the happiest girl there was (and then we went out for breakfast!).
